Call
Park Use in conjunction with the PA to locate appropriate employee(s) in all areas of the office. Manually park calls in one of 10 orbits (three-digit identifiers 500 to 509) then announce them with a connected third party PA system. Retrieve parked calls from any local extension. Parked callers hear music-on-hold, and must wait for someone to answer the phone. Unlike call queue, they have no option to leave a voicemail, or to return to an auto attendant. To park a call, put the caller on hold then press * 500. To retrieve the call from any extension, pick up the extension and press * * 500. Additional calls can be placed in orbits 501 to 509 for a maximum of 10 call park orbits. Networking units together does not add additional call park orbits; there is a global maximum of 10 call orbits. |
