Keystone multimedia wall plates and modular inserts may be used to connect the following devices: Telephone, Modems/Computers (Cat5e wire), Speakers, Home Theater and Surround Sound systems, Video connections (RCA-Type), Coax for Satellite or Cable ("F"-type)

Keystone is a system of wall plates and snap-in module inserts that allow you to combine audio, video, and phone jacks together in a single wall plate. You no longer need to install separate wall plates for phone, video, Internet, television and speaker connections. The wall plates come with 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 port openings and can accommodate Keystone module inserts for devices in any combination.

Keystone Installation Instructions: Simply run the cable you wish to connect to the electrical or low-voltage cable box locations you desire, prior to installing drywall. You may also use the #1336 to mount wall plates to drywall in locations that do not require electrical boxes. Install drywall and cut openings at wall-box locations. Terminate wire with the appropriate Keystone module insert and snap the insert into the Keystone wall plate. Mount the Keystone wall plate to the electrical box or drywall mounting bracket.
Installation Note: Low voltage wire does not require the installation of metal wall-boxes.
